« Signé, elles »: MAF launches its podcast
The Musée Artistes Femmes is finding its voice. With « Signé, elles », its new podcast presented by Marie Bagi, MAF sets out to meet the women who bring the art world to life. The first episode is dedicated to the artist Alexia Weill and her sculpture « Racines ».
Voices, perspectives, journeys
Since opening, MAF has been committed to making women artists visible, sharing their stories and giving them the place they deserve. With « Signé, elles », the museum carries this commitment beyond its walls, straight into your ears.
Presented by Marie Bagi, director of MAF, the podcast gives a voice to the artists, actresses and creators who, each in their own way, shape our imagination and open up new perspectives. Through heartfelt conversations and intimate stories, « Signé, elles » explores the paths of creation: the impulses that nourish it, the challenges it faces and the stories that bring it to life.
Like so many signatures left on the world, these voices trace a plural memory of art, where experiences, sensibilities and visions meet. « Signé, elles » is an invitation to listen to those who create, interpret and transform, and to discover, behind every work and every journey, the uniqueness of a gesture, a thought, a presence.
Episode 1: Alexia Weill and « Racines »
What if our roots said more about us than we imagine?
For this first episode, MAF ventures beyond its walls to meet Alexia Weill, artist and one of the faces of MAF. Together, they explore « Racines », a sculpture that questions our connections to the living world, to our origins and to the world around us.
A conversation that draws you into the heart of her artistic universe, and invites you to look differently at what connects us.
