The Musée Artistes Femmes is launching its brand-new competition, open to all women artists, whether or not they are affiliated with the museum, for the creation of a monumental work to temporarily adorn the facade of our building at Rue de la Louve 3.

Avec Fragments of Intimacies, Christelle Kahla investit les quatre murs du MAF pour une expérience immersive à 360 degrés. Pensée comme un montage d'images, l'exposition prolonge une série entamée en 2023 et présentée pour la première fois début 2026 au Kunsthaus Langenthal. Elle réunit ici des œuvres existantes et une nouvelle série de grands formats, produite spécialement pour Lausanne.

In this series, the woman unfolds in fragments, faces and half-figures that answer one another without ever meeting, turning discontinuity into an intimate landscape. The incomplete echoes, the superimposed lines and the piercing eyes play a game of faulty mirrors: present and elusive at once.
