Open Call: "La Fresque du MAF"

The Musée Artistes Femmes is launching its brand-new competition, open to all women artists, whether or not they are affiliated with the museum, for the creation of a monumental work to temporarily adorn the facade of our building at Rue de la Louve 3.

The project

The selected work will be reproduced by the museum on a banner roughly 6 metres long an 2 metres high, and displayed on rue de la Louve for a set period of 6 months. It will transform the museum's facade into a space of artistic expression, visible to all, in the heart of Lausanne.

Our approach

True to its mission of celebrating and promoting women's creativity, the museum wishes to make this open call a moment of exceptional visibility, rooted in the public space.

What we offer

The selected artist will benefit from unique visibility, on the museum's facade and across our social media, offering the public a fresh aesthetic experience.

Who can take part?

All women artists, with no affiliation to the museum required, are invited to submit their project.

Registration and deadline

Send us your projects at info@le-maf.ch by 30 November 2026, for a display opening on 4 January 2027.
